What you'll do

Order on or before 1 May, for a discounted price of
$138 per guest (usually $190).
Spend some relaxing time with friends and loved ones doing this unique customised art activity and create your own tufting art!
During this hands-on, five-hour class, you'll learn how to make a custom tufted rug using a 60x60cm frame, a tufting gun and yarn.
Prepare an image that you would like to transform into woollen art and we'll use a projector to transfer your design/drawing onto the primary fabric.
As we guide you through the process, you'll have a selection of more than 50 colours of yarn to choose from. You'll slow make your rug and see your design come to life—tuft by tuft!
We can also take you through how to add the finishing touches to your handmade rug so you can take it home and use it.
Please note: workshop price is catered to a maximum of two people to make one rug together, share one frame and a tufting gun and it is only charged for one person at a time. So, you can bring your friend, your partner to do it together.

TUTU STUDIO is a 100 square meter workshop located in Dixon St, China Town, Sydney.
We opened in 2021, offering a wide range of craft activities in our studio.
We have tufting, where you can create your own favorite items like rugs, bags, cushions, mirrors, and coasters.
Each year, over 2000 people enjoy tufting in our studio.
This year, we have introduced handmade DIY silver jewelry rings, which require no prior experience.
We provide engaging courses that teach you how to design and craft 999 silver rings.
In addition to this, our studio offers various other hands-on experiences, including glass painting, fluid art, 3D relief painting, and more, suitable for people of all ages.
We also host birthday parties and private events.
