Shannon Lewis Ceramics

I am a professional, full-time potter who makes tableware, home decor and sculptural pieces. My work includes commissions from organisations such as MCM House and Merivale restaurants, as well private collectors. My experience includes wheel throwing, hand-building and various forms of surface decoration. I also make and apply my own glazes.

I work from a lovely, well equipped studio in Marrickville with a great friendly vibe and my lessons are private 1-on-1 classes for beginners, intermediate and experienced potters. I have experience in a wide variety of projects - large and small, so I’m able to work with potters at any level who are looking to develop their skills generally, or who want to hone in on a particular skill or project.

Classes can be on a regular basis or one-off and typically run for two hours. Classes are also super convenient because you can request a class time that suits you.
