Shruty Jain

Digital Content Designer (Marketing)

I moved to Australia to pursue my Master’s degree, and over the years, it has become my home. I’m a creative at heart and a social butterfly who loves connecting with people, whether that’s spending time with friends and family or discovering new places together. Outside of work, you’ll often find me exploring beaches, discovering beautiful cafés over brunch, travelling, caring for my plants or experimenting with different painting techniques.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with experience across brand design, digital design, UI/UX and creative campaigns.

About me

  • Master of Design (UX/UI), UNSW Sydney
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • I have a background in both architecture and design, which gives me a unique perspective when approaching creative projects.
  • I love experimenting with different art mediums and am always looking for something new to learn.

Top weekend activity

Exploring Sydney’s hidden gems is my favourite way to spend a weekend, whether it’s a beach day, discovering a new café for brunch or spending quality time with friends and family.

Favourite craft

Acrylic painting and tufting are my current favourites. I love experimenting with colour, texture and different techniques. I’m very keen to learn knitting and crocheting next.

3 top tips to recharge and unwind

  • Slow down and prioritise self-care. Take time to pause, reset and do the things that make you feel good, whether that’s a relaxing skincare routine, painting or simply enjoying a quiet moment.
  • Reset your space and your mind. Decluttering and creating a calm environment can help you feel refreshed and re-energised.
  • Move, connect and nourish yourself. Staying active, catching up with friends or cooking your favourite meal are simple ways to reconnect with yourself and others.

3 top tips for embracing creativity

  • Trust your instincts and embrace your individuality. Don’t get too caught up in trends; follow the ideas that genuinely excite you and create work that reflects your own perspective.
  • Don’t be afraid to fail. Creativity is about experimenting, making mistakes and trying new things. Let go of perfection and enjoy the process of bringing your ideas to life.
  • Share your creative journey with others. Celebrating your progress and exchanging ideas with people who inspire you can make creativity even more meaningful.
