Hola! We’re Jacinto and Juan Pedro, the duo behind Spanish Paella & Sangria, bringing the taste and warmth of Spain to Sydney.
Our story began long before we met — in the kitchens of our families, where Sundays meant laughter, paella, and the smell of saffron filling the air. For Jacinto, growing up in Valencia, paella wasn’t just a dish — it was a ritual, a way to connect with people and celebrate life.
Juan Pedro, originally from Seville, is a talented chef and pastry chef who has worked in some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain and Europe. His precision, creativity, and deep respect for tradition bring a touch of culinary mastery to everything we do.
When we met in Australia, we decided to bring both worlds together: tradition and technique, flavour and storytelling. That’s how Spanish Paella & Sangria was born — to share not just our food, but the experience of being in Spain for a few hours: gathering around a big pan, sipping sangria, laughing, talking, and creating memories.
We love teaching because every class feels like inviting friends to our home.
