Hi, I’m Caryn, Owner and Head Pastry Chef of Sydney Cakery. What started as a creative hobby quickly turned into a lifelong career, and today I’m proud to share my skills through hands-on, fun, and inspiring cake decorating classes. After completing my Certificate III in Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu, I gained industry experience before deciding to open my family-run cake shop in 2021.

Since then, I’ve created custom cakes for weddings, celebrations, and corporate events across Sydney. My work has been featured in television shows (NCIS Sydney), music videos (ILUKA ft. Lime Cordiale), and The Urban List, and Sydney Cakery has been recognised as a Local Business Awards finalist two years in a row.

Teaching is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I love helping others build confidence and creativity in a fun, supportive environment. My beginner-friendly Cake & Sip workshops are perfect for individuals, groups, and corporate team-building events.
