Pottery Club for Teenagers (Ages 10 - 17)
Get ready to get muddy and make magic!
Our hands-on pottery club runs from 9:30am–2pm and is packed with clay, creativity, fun, and games. Teens will learn hand-building and decorative techniques and paint their creations while exploring their artistic side in a supportive, playful environment.
Our pottery club offers a full day of artistic exploration with clay. Your teenagers will explore functional pots and various decorative techniques. They will build confidence, friendships, learn new skills, and bring home handmade pottery they’re proud of—all in a supportive, encouraging studio setting.
In this class, students will create up to three hand-built projects. In between creating, your children will have a break for lunch and enjoy good old-fashioned games such as table tennis.
Please pack morning tea and lunch and bring a water bottle, hat, apron, and wear covered shoes.
This class is perfect for beginners and experienced young artists alike—no experience needed, just imagination! All materials included. Come make something amazing! Spaces are limited.
The images above are examples of proposed artworks. Each individual's artwork is unique and will look different.
We will glaze and fire your artwork in approximately five weeks. Once they are ready, we will contact you to let you know suitable times for collection. We cannot store artworks for longer than six months due to space limitations. After this time, all uncollected works will be donated.
The utmost care will always be taken with your precious artworks. Occasionally, ceramics crack or break in the firing process. We cannot accept liability under these circumstances.
We require a minimum number of enrolments to run the class. In the event that the class does not reach minimum numbers, we will cancel and reschedule your booking.
