This pottery class is designed especially for teenagers who want to explore their creativity and learn the art of working with clay.
Over the course of the term, students will learn hand-building techniques and be guided through essential foundational skills, as well as develop their own ideas and gain confidence in shaping, decorating, and finishing ceramic pieces.
This structured class encourages experimentation and self-expression while providing supportive instruction in a relaxed and welcoming studio environment.
Students will learn how to create both functional and sculptural forms, explore surface design and glazing, and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their work progress from raw clay to finished ceramics.
Perfect for beginners and those with some experience, this class offers a fun, hands-on way for teenagers to build skills, express themselves, and create meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces.
All materials included — come make something amazing!
Spaces are limited.
We will glaze and fire your artworks made during the term. Once they are ready, we will contact you to let you know suitable times for collection. We cannot store artworks for longer than 6 months due to space limitations. After this time, all uncollected works will be donated.
The utmost care will always be taken with your precious artworks. Occasionally, ceramics crack or break in the firing process. We cannot accept liability under these circumstances.
We require a minimum number of enrolments to run the class. In the event that the class does not reach minimum numbers, we will cancel and reschedule your booking.
