The Fabulous Wonder Mama is a cosplay/drag persona I have been performing for about 6 years now when she first appeared in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras!

Since then Wonder Mama has appeared at events around the world such as World Pride in New York City and Wonder Con in Anaheim California! She does a lot of charity work and fundraising as well as free Storytime events both online and in-person!

As Renny, I was a graphic designer and illustrator for over 20 years and have recently written and illustrated two children's storybooks that are for sale on Amazon around the world. I still design, illustrate and dabble in all sorts of creative things!

Lovely tour with the fabulous wonder mama who is a Sydney born drag queen and has fountains of knowledge about the queer history of this amazing city. They contacted us a few times prior to the tour to ensure we knew the time and place to meet and this all went smoothly. The walk is not strenuous and has plenty of rest points where areas of interest are discussed. Wonder mama is very friendly, easy to talk to and answers all questions with good knowledge and humour. Thoroughly recommend.

We really enjoyed wonder mama's guide tour. We are Japanese guests and not good at speaking/listening English, wonder mama spoke to us very slowly and clearly with funny joke that we can understand her story and history of LGBTQ journey in Sydney.
If you want to enjoy and discover Sydney more, we highly recommend LGBTQ walking tour with wonder mama! (even if you are not good at English!)

I booked drag and draw for a hens night and it was a hoot! Wonder Mama lived up to their name and was absolutely fabulous. We all had a great time. I’d recommend 100% everyone was surprised in their artistic abilities haha

I’ve lived in the area before but never knew too much about its LGBTIQ+ history. Wonder mama was entertaining and informative and extremely personable. I walked away with a wonderfully phallic waffle and a renewed appreciation of how a community can band together to prevail against the forces that sought to stamp it out of existence. Highly recommend this to anyone.

We had a blast during our class with Wonder Mama! She was entertaining and very knowledgeable and a fabulous activity to do for a hens party. We did our class at the Shakespeare Hotel and it was the perfect location for it. We had a private room and she helped organise penis & vagina waffles to enjoy and gave us tote bags to carry our art work in for the rest of the night. We did the drag queen drawing with pastels activity and had a good laugh. Communication with Wonder Mama on the lead it was seamless and she's very professional and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend it

Had an amazing time last night with Wonder Mama at the Naughty Painting class.
So much fun at the amazing location with the really tasty waffles.
Had a lot of guidance and we were given great tips and tricks to make sure the final product was fabulous.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to do something different and wants a good laugh.

Firstly, she’s such a great entertainer and also a good art teacher which was super helpful as she provided guidance during the whole evening and made sure to go one by one to check team is happy with their art! Loved it, Wilma was fun and really got the team engaged, we were all a little nervous about our drawing capabilities, Wilma alleviated this, gave us some really good tips and tricks, the time flew past and we were all extremely proud of our results. We had a great time at Draw your Inner Drag Queen! Wonder Mama was loads of fun and very supportive, and shared skills and tips to help us produce and feel good about our artworks.

I wish the session was 30 minutes longer, or we had a bit less time on practice and more on the final piece - I don’t like rushing.

We went as a corporate group to learn about the history of Oxford Street, Mardi Gras and the evolution of gay rights in Australia. This tour was fun and informative. We were able to ask questions and see so much in just two hours! The waffles at the end were so delicious and Wonder Mama was a fabulous guide!

This was the perfect experience to start my friends hens party. We all completely loved Wonder Mumma's teaching style, presence and skill. We held our session at the Hollywood Hotel, the venue couldn't have been more accommodating. I personally feel extremely chuffed with my inner drag queen drawing (and I definitely don't draw!). Needless to say highly recommended.

Everyone had lots of fun drawing our drag queens! The bride absolutely loved it!
Renny was so helpful and quick to respond in the lead up to the event, answering all my questions.
The venue at Hollywood Hotel was great, the staff were so friendly.

Our team had a fabulous time with the Wonder Mama learning how draw. It was a super fun class to do with a group, we learnt some skills while having heaps of fun and sharing our drawings with each other. Wondermama's Drag n Drawing class was Amazing. She is fun, elaborate n very clear with her instructions. She used projected photos in the beginning of class. She is very helpful inc tweaking ur art if you need a lil help.
The room is a long room, plenty of space on the tables to use. The atmosphere was fun. With our drinks n nibbles. The mix of people n results were Fabulous 2 hours went quick. And we get to keep our pastels, drawing note pad n bright Wondermama bag. Highly recommended "no spaghetti hair" LOVE you WONDERMAMA xxx
