Following the huge success of the ongoing Knit Club at South Eveleigh (you might have seen us on TV?), Hi I'm Deb is thrilled to launch an after-hours option!

Knit Club (After Hours) are welcoming sessions designed for people who want to make something with their hands while enjoying good company.

Beginner knitters will receive full guidance from experienced facilitators to learn all the basics needed (casting on, knit, purl, and casting off) before moving on to projects in following weeks (think of it like a choose-your-own-adventure).

Packs are included in the Beginner Knitter ticket price and are valued at $45 RRP - please select Beginner Knitter when purchasing your ticket.

Experienced knitters are welcome to bring their own projects to work on - please select BYO project in the ticket box.

Want to bring crochet, cross-stitch (or any of your favourite fibre arts)? Absolutely - just select BYO project when purchasing your ticket.

This is not a formal class with rigid rules or perfect outcomes. It is a cosy, social session where you can get lost in the rhythm of knitting while enjoying an antipasti platter, meet like-minded people, and end the day without scrolling on your phone.

Perfect for beginners, confident knitters, and anyone craving a softer way to spend an evening.

Beginner knitters will also receive a starter pack with premium knitting needles, 2 balls of wool, written instructions, and YouTube tutorials to follow along at home.

It was a lovely morning where I got to relax, meet other knitters and have a few laughs whilst knitting. It’s lovely relaxed vibe and the location is really nice space. I’m excited to come to another one and bring my friend back hoping Deb can walk me through an Italian bind off in person

I started a new knitting project, a headband, and now its a WIP. The 10AM-11:30AM time on Sunday works very well for me. The workshop is just a few mins walk from Kingsgrove railway station. Its a very cosy atmosphere, and I love the artistic decor. I am definitely going to book future sessions. Deb is a wonderful and patient teacher.

Learnt a new way to cast on stitches way better much cleaner and tidier also learnt the proper way to do a perl stitch. Debs is fantastic and the other ladies were fabulous. Love our knit club and looking forward to coming back and doing more. I'm actually following a pattern!!!!! I didn't know how to read one properly. So cool!!!! Hi I'm Deb, Owner, Designer and Maker and workshop host!

Coming from a long family history of creativity it's no surprise I started working for a sewing machine company at age 20, then at 24 I opened my own sewing shop.

A few years later I thought I would give the corporate world a try and got stuck there for almost 20 years (all the while making clothes and costumes for my children) until a chronic illness diagnosis rescued me!

Completing my Cert IV in Design and a Diploma in Surface Design rekindled my creativity and I now offer you the opportunity to create beautiful, mindful pieces. With a focus on sustainability and repurposing reclaimed textiles.

Specialising in group bookings for one off team building events, conference break out sessions and multi week Creative Clubs for business, council and corporate clients.
