A fabulous workshop. Well organised from the get go. Welcoming and fun. Tge Happenstore provided a lovely, creative space. Our pack of materials and instructions were well thought out and just right for the project. Amy Jones was an excellent teacher, clear, friendly, inspiring. Her work is so gorgeous and she's very generous in sharing her knowledge, tips and inspiration.

Great location with good lighting, super friendly and patient teacher. Plenty of material available, also to take home at the end of the night to complete your piece! Loved it and would highly recommend.

Our embroidery workshop was a great way to spend an evening- fun & interesting guided by ever helpful Amy. We learned new ways with stitches & were able to work on a project that looked good from the start- due to Amy’s thoughtful cutting of threads & background preparation. 3 hours went way to quickly!

Textiles class

Amy Jone’s Moss Embroidery class ran over two Saturdays. We learnt a variety of different embroidery stitches using a wide variety of lovely threads. Amy provides all the equipment and materials needed such as linen, a hoop, threads and beads and advice to complete a small jewel like embroidery. Great class, lovely teacher.

Textiles class

Having everything supplied (including homemade cake) made for an extremely enjoyable rainy morning workshop. The venue was excellent, and as Amy’s exhibition was on the walls, inspiration was everywhere. Written instructions were given to take home to jog the memory. Looking forward to continuing the journey next week!
