It’s a slow, peaceful process—forming the core usually takes 30 mins, allowing the core to rest for 3 hours, and wet shaping can take 30-40 mins, but the real magic happens in the polishing journey, done in gentle sessions an hour or so the first day then smaller 5-15 min sessions whenever you have a quiet moment over the next 3 days. No rush at all — the shine reveals itself slowly, and that’s part of the calm.
Q: Is it messy? Do I need to do this outside?
A little earth on your hands is part of the fun (and it washes off easily!), but our kits are designed for indoor use with minimal mess. Everything’s contained — just work on a tray or newspaper if you like. Perfect for cosy days at home.
Q: Do I need any special skills or experience?
Not at all — no artistic talent required. The process is forgiving and meditative; it’s about presence, not perfection. My step-by-step guide walks you through gently, and many people’s first orbs turn out beautifully surprising. It’s beginner-friendly by design.
Q: What’s included in the kit?
Everything to get you started: carefully selected soils/clays (in packets for easy mixing), a soft polishing cloth, simple instructions, and a few extras to make your journey smoother. Just add water and your calm hands — no hunting for materials needed.
