I had a wonderful experience at this class! It was excellent for someone like me who can neither paint nor draw to save her life. A great way to spend a Saturday. I will definitely be doing more classes in the future.

What a top painting experience! I attended this workshop with my sister, as I had an assignment in where I had to partake in professional learning in the arts and thought painting the famous Van Gogh’s starry night would be a perfect experience. As a beginner, I was quite nervous on what to expect, however my worries were put to ease almost instantly with our teacher, Amanda. She was so friendly, inviting and made us feel comfortable from the start. She really walked us through the process, and was very encouraging which helped build our confidence in painting. She taught us how to perfect our strokes, blend/mix colours, how to work with acrylic paint and most importantly to take a risk, because you can’t ever ruin art. A stand out was that she took the time to patiently help each attendee one on one, which was extremely helpful. Also, I found it was quite inclusive, in terms of abilities and ages ranging from young children right through to teenagers and adults. Due to such a fun and pleasant experience, my sister and I will definitely be back to another one of Amanda’s class’. The only thing was we didn’t get the chance to finish our masterpiece. Yet, Amanda didn’t finish the experience there, she was so helpful that she emailed through all the colours and brushes needed to complete it and has since consistently checked in to monitor our progress. I would highly recommend this class to everyone.
