Join us for our second Artist Process Collage Workshop in 2025 with SCS artist Steve Tierney. A rare opportunity to learn from a collage artist whose practice spans over 20 years. Steve’s work has been commissioned by/worked for ABC TV, The Good Weekend, We Are Purposeful Fund, The Global Resilience Fund, UN Women and has been featured in international publications such as TRANSFORMATION – A Survey of Collage and the Development of Personal Language, COLLAGE – A Closer Look, Cults of Life, Contemporary Collage Magazine and KOLAJ Magazine.
Steve creates refined, minimalistic collages often consisting of only two or three images, assembled from vintage magazines, photo journals, and original photography. A long-time member of the Sydney Collage Society, Steve regularly exhibits his work internationally and brings a wealth of experience to his workshops. In this hands-on, full-day session, you’ll explore traditional collage techniques, 3D components, how to work with limited materials and image layering to create one or more artworks, ready to take to the framer and hang.

Date & Time: Saturday, June 28th, 2025 | 10AM – 3PM
⏳ Duration: 4-hour workshop + 1-hour lunch
- Morning session: 10AM – 12PM
- Lunch with the artist: 12PM – 1PM
- Afternoon session: 1PM – 3PM
