In this hands-on ‘Authentic Flavours of Southern Italy’ cooking class, you’ll make your own fresh pasta shapes, just like they do in Southern Italy, and discover the vibrant and bold Mediterranean recipes and flavours passed down from Antonella's heritage.
In this cooking class, you'll create:
  • Roasted Capsicum Bruschetta - a delightful blend of sweet roasted capsicum, crusty Italian bread, and creamy ricotta.
  • Fresh Pasta Shapes - have fun rolling out pasta shapes including casarecce, fusilli and orecchiette.
  • Casarecce alla Norma - a Sicilian classic combining eggplant, tomato and fresh basil.
  • Sicilian Dessert - a rustic treat where we make a delicate pastry base and fill it with fruit and nuts.
This menu showcases the Sicilian way of embracing strong, bold flavours like tomatoes, olive oil, Mediterranean vegetables, citrus, herbs and spices. After cooking, we’ll gather in true “Italian style” to enjoy our three-course meal, allowing you to experience the spirit of Southern Italy with every bite.

My love for cooking began at the age of seven, cooking alongside my mother. Together, we created a cherished handwritten cookbook filled with recipes and tips she passed down to me. Those early experiences ignited a lifelong passion for sharing the joy of Italian cooking with people like you.

I bring a unique blend of my Italian heritage and professional training to every class. After leaving the corporate world to follow my heart, I trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School, began selling fresh Italian products at farmers markets, and worked alongside top chefs in restaurants and function centres.
For over 18 years, I’ve been teaching Italian cooking - both online and in-person – helping home cooks like you fall in love with good and flavourful Italian food.
Pass the Parmesan Italian Cooking School: Teaching is where my heart lies, and it inspired me to create my very own cooking school. I love inspiring others and sharing my knowledge through fun and interactive classes to master delicious and authentic Italian flavours.
