It wasn't until Lottie Dalziel tried to drastically reduce her waste as part of her New Year's resolution in 2018 that she realised how hard it was not only to find environmentally-friendly products but also find credible information around waste.

Banish was born in a bid to help Australian's reduce their waste with the right products and even better information.

Lottie's aim at Banish is to give Australians all of the tools they need to reduce their waste and ecological footprint. Banish is a revolutionary marketplace that not only provides the best eco-friendly products in the industry, it offers consumers all of the support they need to reach their zero-waste goals.

It's time to act now Australia - there's no time to waste.

Lottie was a fantastic teacher, we all loved learning ways to reduce food wastage and then making pickles and sauerkraut! Great central location, easy to get to and find!

I enjoyed the interactive session, lots of eye openers. I can't recommend it more, a really great session with Lottie.

I wasn’t able to attend due to work commitments - am I able to reschedule another session?

Lottie is really friendly and personable. We booked in the "Sustainable Living Workshop and Bin-Go: How to Recycle Right" and it was great! Lottie didn't make anyone feel bad for getting it all wrong and we all learnt a lot. I know a few people have already signed up for the BRAD volunteering :)

Such a great course. Hayley and Karen were so lovely and very knowledgeable about candles. We also learnt about the ethos behind Candle Exchange and the great work that they do giving back to the community. It felt great to make a candle that would be given to someone in need. Definitely recommend this course.

We did this as a family as a belated Mother's Day Gift. We were taught a lot about candles and the things to look out for when buying sustainable candles (NOTE: They must be 100% Soy!).
The class was entertaining and everyone loved the additional contribution to needy families.
Keep up the great work Banish & CandleXchange. We will recommend this class to others.

This was a really fun and useful session for our team to take part in together. It was great team bonding and I would strongly recommend this class to anyone who is looking to take simple steps to live more sustainably. You come away not only with your DIY beeswax wraps but also the skill to make more later. I already feel better seeing them at work in my fridge at home.

Lottie's classes are held conveniently right by central station - an abandoned phramacy space which she and her team have transformed into a busy sustainability hub - that being said, she is truly an inspirational instructor. And once your class has finished, there are plenty of sustainable products to explore in the shop, or you can learn more about how their BRAD recycling program works. Thanks for a wonderful evening session!

Lottie's talk was good. It made me realise how bad humanity and my own habits are for the earth as well as what, collectively, we can do through simple steps and small changes, to reverse the planet's fast decay into a wasteland. Consider me plastic free!

I found the talk short and poor with basic information provided. The teacher went through the usual stuff without giving a proper advices and insights. The topic was obviously relevant and positive but the content didn’t require a presentation to be known.
