Hi I'm Deb, Owner, Designer and Maker from Stalia Design.Coming from a long family history of creativity it's no surprise I started working for a sewing machine company at age 20, then at 24 I opened my own sewing shop.A few years later I thought I would give the corporate world a try and got stuck there for almost 20 years (all the while making clothes and costumes for my children) until a chronic illness diagnosis rescued me!Completing my Cert IV in Design and a Diploma in Surface Design rekindled my creative spark and I now offer you the opportunity to create beautiful, mindful pieces. With a focus on sustainability and repurposing reclaimed textiles.Workshops are run in my private space at Goodspace in Kingsgrove and I also run private in-person workshops for hen's and bridal shower, birthday parties and team building. I look forward to helping you create your very own masterpiece.
