My journey into aromatherapy began during a time when I was searching for a more natural way to manage stress, slow down and bring greater balance into my life. What started as a personal interest soon became a deep fascination with the science, chemistry and traditional wisdom behind essential oils.That passion led me to complete a Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy and establish Bella Aromatica, my boutique aromatherapy practice and botanical lifestyle brand. I am also a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA).I love natural perfumery because it brings together creativity, science and personal expression. I’m also passionate about helping people become more conscious of what goes into the fragrances they wear. Some conventional fragrance and personal-care products may contain ingredients, such as certain phthalates, that have been studied for their potential endocrine-disrupting effects. This is one reason I value ingredient transparency, thoughtful formulation and working directly with beautiful botanical materials.Every essential oil has its own character, chemistry and story. A natural fragrance can be more than something beautiful to wear—it can reflect a memory, a mood or a part of your personality.I love teaching because I get to make this fascinating craft approachable for beginners. There is something truly special about watching someone explore the ingredients, trust their intuition and gradually create a fragrance that feels completely their own. You don’t need any previous experience or a “perfect nose”—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.Outside my aromatherapy practice, I have a professional background in finance, so I naturally bring both creativity and a structured, evidence-informed approach to my workshops. My classes are warm, relaxed and thoughtfully guided, giving you plenty of room to experiment while learning the foundations of natural perfume making.I look forward to welcoming you and helping you create a botanical fragrance that is uniquely yours.
