Make your next kid's birthday celebration a fun and crafty affair with our in-studio billy-cart building party! Hosted at our studio in Castle Cove, Sydney.
Kids work together to assemble and decorate a billy cart for the birthday child to keep. Guided by our experienced facilitators, kids will learn teamwork, problem-solving, and hands-on woodworking skills in a safe and supervised environment, all while having fun!
Our woodwork projects are thoughtfully designed and crafted here in Sydney, offering quality and affordable activities.
Make your child’s party stand out with a unique, hands-on theme that combines essential carpentry skills with a fun, festive atmosphere. Ideal for ages 5 to 12, our parties are completely safe, with all materials provided and hosted by our well-trained team, who have undergone Working with Children checks.
Please note:
This party package is for groups of 10-20 kids. $450 for 10 children. Additional children are $40 per child. Maximum of 20 children per party.
Parents are welcome to bring a birthday cake and snacks; however, they are fully responsible for managing any food restrictions or allergies. We encourage parents to communicate with other guests' families to ensure everyone's safety, as we do not take responsibility for dietary concerns. Additionally, we kindly ask that parents clean up any food waste after the celebration.
For an alternative option, there is a small enclosed park just a few steps from our studio where parents can set up a small table for party snacks. If using this space, we ask that you be mindful of the local community and keep noise levels to a minimum.

Built By Kidz Activities is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Raymond and Josephine. Raymond is a licensed builder and carpenter who has been honing his craft for over 25 years, and together they are passionate about teaching valuable, practical skills to the next generation. Our aim is to provide a fun, safe setting for children to gain basic carpentry knowledge, refine motor skills, practise problem-solving, and explore their creativity, through kids DIY woodwork activities.
Being parents to three daughters, when we started our business they were all of primary school age, and we tested our DIY woodworking projects with them. They had so much fun and loved the building experience, so knowing our kids loved them, we knew our projects would resonate with other kids as well.
We believe learning should be fun, and have crafted our packages to do just that!
