  • 5/5 from Abby Clark, attended Sep 2026: We ended up with beautiful books and appreciated being walked through the process thoroughly and carefully! Imogen was a great and very patient teacher.
  • 5/5 from Carol Maber, attended Sep 2026: This was a great class. The teacher was SO lovely. Learnt so much. Because there was a lot to master, the class possibly needs to be longer in time to not feel rushed.
  • 3/5 from Haylee Wilkinson, attended Sep 2026: The teacher was fantastic, patient and did her best to help everyone however the workshop wasn’t long enough which caused the teacher to stay behind for an extra 3 hours so everyone could leave with a completed book (I hope she was paid overtime for this!) The number of tools like scissors, cutting mats, rulers, etc were very limited so everyone was left waiting while someone else finished using the needed tools. While paper and boards were cut to a predetermined size, this was done in a way that each person had to resize their’s individually. This was an extra step that felt unnecessary and difficult. It didn’t seem that staff were given enough time to prepare these materials. The majority of the participants struggled with sewing the pages together so the teacher had to help one on one. Everyone ended up at different stages of the workshop as some were having to catch up after struggling with sewing while others had already moved onto taping the spine and gluing on covers. This workshop took a total of 6 and a half hours to actually complete. We were encouraged to step away for short breaks however as this workshop was only meant to go for 2 and a half hours no one had the time to eat lunch.
