How can we help?
Q: My child is a beginner. Can they still join?
Yes 100%. Our classes are designed to be beginner friendly with no prior skill requirements.
Q: Will I have to purchase any art supplies and stationary?
Yes but these are very minimal and may already be available in most households (pencils, markers, erasers, white paper). They can be purchased from almost any stationary section (e.g. Woolworths, Coles, K-Mart, BigW, etc.) and are very affordable.
Q: Should a parent join the class and be present?
We recommend that a parent joins us at the beginning for the introduction because we love meeting everyone and it helps the children feel settled before we begin. During class, we kindly ask parents to take a small step back so children can settle in, focus and feel confident exploring on their own. You’re absolutely welcome to hover nearby, listen in or sneak the occasional peek, but giving them a little space helps them do their best work, especially when they are sharing their artwork with the group.
Q: Do we need a special setup at home?
A quiet table, good lighting and a device with a camera is all you need. Many families simply use a laptop or tablet. Artwork is simply held up to the camera.
Q: You listed some material options. What should I have?
Everybody will be using standard pencils, erasers and black markers on white paper. For adding colour, we recommend everyone has coloured pencils available (easiest and can be erased if needed). Oil pastels and coloured markers can also be used as alternative colouring mediums (if coloured pencils are not available or the child prefers them), but they can be slightly more advanced. We therefore recommend coloured pencils to be readily available. A note about black markers: we recommend using 2x black markers, a thick black marker (Sharpie, etc.) and a finetip or fineliner of 0.5mm for the smaller details. For white paper we do recommend mixed media art paper (which is a bit sturdier) but standard white A4 paper is perfectly OK to use for this class.
Q: Will you send me something to print out after I book this class?
We will send everyone a worksheet which can be printed out and is recommended. However this is not mandatory as we will still display it on-screen during class, so printing out a hardcopy at home is purely optional and based on individual preference.
Q: What age group is this class suitable for?
Our virtual art classes are designed for children aged 6 to 12. The projects are flexible so younger children can enjoy the creative play while older children can challenge themselves with more detail and expression.
Q: How long is each class?
Each session runs for 2 hours. This gives children enough time to learn the steps, create their artwork and share their creation with the group without feeling rushed.
Q: What if my child is shy or nervous?
Totally normal. Many children feel this way at first. We start with a gentle introduction and simple warm up tasks, so everyone feels comfortable. Most children settle in quickly once they realise it is a friendly and supportive space and they are about to create something awesome.
Q: What if my child needs help during the class?
Children can always ask the instructor for help at any time. If they need a quick hand with something technical (e.g. camera, internet, etc.), parents are welcome to quietly assist and then step back again so the child can continue independently.
Q: Will my child be able to share their artwork?
Yes. At the end of each class children are invited to show their artwork to the group. This builds confidence, communication skills and pride in their creative effort.
Q: What ages is this class suitable for?
A: 6 to 12 years. Adult accompaniment is not required.
Q: What's the cancellation policy?
A: No cancellations or reschedules allowed
Q: How long does the class run for, and what's the price?
A: 2 hours, $75 per guest

Create: They Make a Piece That's Uniquely Theirs
Your child draws their own animal companion using flowing neurographic lines and vibrant colours, a technique that produces a stunning result every single time. They can choose a template for a little guidance, or go freehand if they’re feeling adventurous. Either way, something beautiful is guaranteed.
Build: They Shape a Story That's Entirely Their Own
Using our guided story questions, your child constructs a short narrative where they and their animal companion set off on a journey together, one of their own making. Along the way, a challenge unfolds, and only your child holds the answer.
Speak: They Present with Real Confidence
Your child presents their artwork and story to the group, walking everyone through their creative choices. We teach them a simple presentation framework used by real professionals, so they're not just sharing their work, they're learning how to express themselves with confidence in front of others.
Reflect: They Start to See Themselves as a Thinker
We close the session with a couple of carefully chosen questions, and children’s answers always surprise us! Some are about their decisions, some stretch their thinking in unexpected directions. It sounds simple, but this is where something quietly powerful happens. As your child puts their thinking into words, they begin to trust it, building the kind of self-belief that underpins every great leader.
Suitable for kids from 6 to 12 years old.
Adult accompaniment is not required.
