Are you looking for a sign to finally pick up drawing lessons and learn some new skills so you can doodle anywhere at any time? Why not try out this cartoon drawing course in Sydney and learn the skills to be able to create fabulous caricatures and drawings in your own unique style!

In this six-week course, you will be guided through each session by an expert artist. You will learn how to create your cartoons as well as imitate iconic cartoons like the classic Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny by using a variety of basic drawing techniques.

To begin, you will form an idea and develop it over the six sessions with tips from the expert. The expert will teach you how to tell stories with your hand-drawn static images, how to create comedic pacing, dramatic tension, and how to generate a flow for the reader, amongst many other cartoon storytelling techniques.

At the end of this fun course, you will have learned:

How to develop a cartoon from an idea to a finished strip or series of single panels
Overview of cartoons - history and types of cartoons
Visual storytelling
Brainstorming, ideas, inspiration
Understanding drawing
Iconic cartooning and how to keep it simple
