What you'll do
This pottery class in Emu Plains will see you unleashing your creativity as you learn the art of creating your very own mug out of stoneware clay. In this workshop, you will be guided through the coil technique by our friendly teacher who will set you up for success. This is a beginner-friendly pottery class—we create a welcoming and supportive environment where you'll feel comfortable exploring your artistic side.
During the class, you'll be provided with all the materials needed and will have the opportunity to use aprons to protect your clothing. Our experienced instructor will take you step-by-step through the process of making your own cup using stoneware clay. You'll learn valuable techniques and gain confidence as you shape and mould the clay into a functional and beautiful mug.
After the creation process, comes the fun part—painting your masterpiece! Express your unique style and personality as you choose from a variety of colors to decorate your mug. Let your creativity flow and create a design that truly reflects your taste.
Once you've completed making and painting your mug, it will be fired in our professional kiln. Your finished piece will be available for pick up in approximately 4 weeks, allowing the clay to fully set and the colors to become vibrant and long-lasting.
