What you'll do

Discover the art of ceramic pottery in Sydney! This is a one-hour wheel throwing class that does not require any experience in pottery.

In this quick, introductory workshop, you will get a taste of working on the potter's wheel and get hands-on experience learning how to make cups, bowls, plates or vases on the wheel. This is a throwing-only class, so no product will be taken home.

First you'll get a quick step-by-step demonstration from your teacher and then you'll have a go making a regular round vessel with your piece of clay with help and guidance from your teacher.

This is a one-off pottery class in Sydney to give you a brief taste of wheel-throwing so you have an idea of what to expect. Perfect for people who are busy at work but want to take some time out to make a thoughtful little gift for themselves and their loved ones.

5/5 from Danica Burch, attended Sep 2024: Went to this class for my sisters birthday. It was so fun! We each got our own wheel and unlimited clay. We were walked through the basics and then got to play and create our own things. Stephen was so nice and helpful. I thought it was great value for money and something a little different to do in the weekend.
