What you'll do
On the search for relaxing Christmas activities in Gladesville? Join us to create your own bellbirds to hang on your Christmas tree or just simply hang them anywhere where the wind blows.
They will ring as they have a clay ringer and clay beads to be adorned. You will make up to two birds in each class.
Dry them up, paint with underglaze in your favourite colours, and then Scrafitto them to create designs on their bodies.
At the end of the class, leave them with us and we will fire and clear-glaze your creations. Once you get them back two to three weeks later, you will pick them up from our studio, use twine or ribbon for hanging and decorate them with the clay bead. Just listen to them sing!

Your teacher
Tennyson Studio is my Ceramic Art and Paint N Sip Studio in Gladesville in Sydney. I took up ceramics and acrylic painting workshops as a hobby back in 1996, did US Ambassadors Ceramics Course with Duncan in 1998 and upon quitting my fulltime job, opened my studio in 2001.
We have been creating and inspiring anyone who has never painted before to unwind, create, and paint for the joy and therapeutic benefits. We are all about enjoying the experience with us especially if you have never painted or worked with ceramics before.
Our Introduction class session is a great way to see if you would like to join us in a course. We also offer kids and adult birthday parties, hens parties, corporate team bonding, school holiday workshops and kids art classes.
