What you'll do

Clay team building workshops are an effective, memorable and fun way to develop your team's ability to work together. It's team building that doesn’t feel like team building. You'll even have tangible clay items to use or a sculpture to display in your office.

Projects can be designed with you to build on your team's specific objectives — for example, projects designed to challenge creativity, collaborative abilities or productivity.

All projects create opportunities for team members to help and teach each other, develop new ideas, play to their strengths and celebrate their achievements.

Projects can range from hand building pinch pot collaborations to building a single large expressive sculpture that's planned by the team (or small groups within the team), and made of component parts contributed by team members.

Workshops for up to six people can be held in our Glebe studio, or at an agreed location for between six to 30 people.

Knowledge required

Beginner-friendly. No prior knowledge or skills are required.

What you'll get

Individual ceramic pieces or larger collaborative sculptures.

What to bring

Bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Suitable for

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday or hens party.

Carol Hudson is a passionate practicing artist with more than 10 years experience with clay and much more with drawing and painting. Carol has has taught at UNSWADA, UTS, Billy Blue and in the USA.

She is a creative director and artist who loves helping her students realise their ideas, and show them ways to make and design ceramics.

Workshops are one to one or up to four people, which means lots of individual attention as you need it.
