Looking for a low-key, feel-good way to bring your team together? Join Handy with Scissors for a corporate crafternoon — a creative escape designed for everyone, no experience needed!
This is not your average workshop. Think of it like an open studio: a relaxed, welcoming space where you can explore a range of craft activities at your own pace.
Choose your own adventure from a gorgeous selection of creative stations, including:
  • Embroidery (modern, simple, satisfying)
  • Watercolour painting (loose, playful techniques)
  • Collage making (with vintage papers, textures and bold colour)
  • Tin embossing (create beautiful designs with simple tools)
You'll leave feeling inspired and connected, with your own handcrafted piece to take home as a reminder of your relaxing and uplifting experience.
Add a few cheese plates and some bubbles if you fancy and really make an afternoon of it!

Hey, I'm Susie – also known as Handy (because, let's be honest, I'm pretty handy with just about everything creative!).
I'm the founder of Handy with Scissors and I've spent over 20 years designing and delivering awesome workshops and creative experiences for all ages.
I majored in object art at Uni and was the Children and Families Coordinator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) for 10 years, where I created programs that helped thousands of kids and their grown-ups connect, create, and explore their creativity in new ways.
I believe everyone is creative — sometimes you just need the right space (and a few handy tips!) to unlock it. My workshops are all about having fun, getting a little bit messy, and discovering just how much you're capable of making with your own two hands.
Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned maker, I can’t wait to create something amazing with you!
