Wine is to be shared and for stories to be told, and with Gerardo Di Iorio you will laugh, learn and drink delicious European wine - a day you will be talking about for years to come!

Gerardo is from a small island near the Amalfi Coast called Ischia. His family has been making wine for generations, so you could say it’s in his blood.  He started with a wine distribution business in Italy, which has expanded into importing European wines into Australia.  

During a session with Gerardo you will learn about French and Italian wines - what is a Chianti, a Nero d'Avola, a Chablis. What words and regions to pay attention to - Burgundy, Barolo, Bordeaux, so you can buy a European wine without being overwhelmed. He will show you how to match French and Italian wine with food - bring your own menu and learn how to pair it so you can have your own European dinner party at home. And last but not least, learn how to sabrage (sabre the top off a champagne bottle) - the ultimate party trick!
