Get ready for sustainable gift-giving this Christmas in this eco-friendly Sydney workshop!
Making DIY beeswax wraps is a fun way to reduce plastics in the home, using materials you might already have in the cupboard. Using what you have is the very ethos that drives Parva: Little Things.
In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own beautiful, reusable and natural food wraps. Beeswax wraps are not only eco-friendly but also very practical! Whether you want to wrap your fruit and vegetables, cheese and ham for a nice picnic, a loaf of bread or simply cover a bowl – beeswax wraps are the perfect fit.
We will also chat all things sustainable and share our experiences on lowering our impact.
You will make three medium-size wraps to take home and a booklet will be emailed after class with information on sourcing sustainable fabrics and local Australian beeswax. We will be using two different making techniques so you can choose the best option to replicate at home.
Come along, have fun and create something beautiful, eco-friendly and practical!
PLEASE NOTE:
We need 7 students to proceed with this class. If we don't reach this, the class will be cancelled and you will be fully refunded.
Extra Beeswax wrap kits and beeswax will be available on the day to purchase.
