What you'll do
On the search for relaxing indoor activities? Try your hand at DIY soap making!
In this online class, you'll learn how to make two different heart soaps — pastel soaps using a white glycerin base with plant oils and glossy bright soaps using a crystal glycerin base with plant oils.
Our virtual workshop will demonstrate techniques on how to:
- Scent your soaps safely with essential oils
- Add mineral-based colours to your soaps
- Use foundation knowledge on aromatherapy and perfumery to make your signature scent
- Use special ingredients to make handmade soaps even more nourishing
A DIY kit will be supplied, which includes everything to make four bars of your very own personalised soaps.
These heart soaps are safe and easy to make at home. With step-by-step instructions and guidance, you will learn how to customise and re-make these soaps.
Optional: Add another set of ingredients to make more soaps and gift to friends and loved ones.

Hi, I'm Louella from Naturally Ready. I'm a small-batch maker of handmade natural skincare products.
My handmade journey started ten years ago. I was working for Australian grain farmers and discovered just how amazing plants are, especially when it's cold pressed and turned into oil! I started making natural lip balms with plant oils from our kitchen bench. And Kiss Ready was born.
A decade on, I still formulate and hand make our eco-luxe natural products. These days, you will find me in Naturally Ready, our Marrickville studio, teaching DIY skincare workshops.
I also run private virtual and in-person workshops for hen's and bridal shower, birthday parties and team building. I can also travel to you for mobile on-site workshops.
I'm so excited to share my love for handmade, truly nourishing ingredients and small-batch natural skincare with you.
