What you'll do

You will have the opportunity to learn the art of needle felting while creating a stunning 2D fox woollen picture. This workshop includes a pre-recorded video tutorial with our skilled teacher, Di, who will provide helpful guidance and expert advice throughout the process. Don't worry if you don't consider yourself an artist, as you'll be needle felting over a printed picture, making it accessible for beginners.
The class will guide you through needle felting onto printed fabric to bring the fox to life, and you'll have the option to turn your creation into a cushion or a framed picture. Once you've mastered the technique, you can make more for your loved ones!
What sets this felting class apart is the inclusion of a DIY kit that provides all the materials you need to create one cushion cover. No need to worry about gathering supplies—we've got you covered!

- Tools: Wool mat and 2 x 38 star, high-quality needles, and 3 needle multi tool.
- Materials: 45cm x 45cm printed cushion cover, NZ Corriedale wools for painting.
- There may be more work after the workshop if you would like to keep adding detail.

Dianne studied needle felting in Japan while living there for 16 yrs with some of Japanese finest needle felting teachers. Felting became a passion after years of practice. Dianne moved back to Brisbane and opened Wild Woolly Heads taking commissions for miniature replicas of peoples’ dogs, and large interior design trophy heads. Inspiration comes from her dog, garden and travels.
