Slow down, get creative, and make something you'll be proud to take home. In our DIY Pixel Art Beads Workshop, you'll turn tiny colourful beads into your own pixel artwork, inspired by your favourite characters, games and designs, or your very own original creation.
Pixel bead art (also known as fuse beads) is one of the most popular relaxing DIY hobbies in Asia, and it's perfect for absolute beginners. No artistic skill or experience is needed.
Here's what you'll do:
  • Pick a design from ready-made templates, or create your own
  • Choose your colours from our huge range of beads (200+ colours)
  • Place your beads piece by piece on the board---the fun, meditative part
  • We'll carefully iron and fuse your artwork so it sets solid
  • Personalise it into a keychain, fridge magnet, coaster and more, with free accessories to take home
Set inside our welcoming Hurstville toy and card store, our tables transform into a creative studio by day. There's a fun, lively buzz around you—but once you settle into beading, it's easy to relax and focus on your project.

Choose the experience that suits you:
- Beginner Experience (52 × 52 Board)
Perfect for first-time visitors. Create one pixel art design on a standard 52 × 52 board with unlimited crafting time until closing. Most guests finish in 1 to 3 hours, depending on the design and their pace.
- Large Project (104 × 104 Board)
Ideal for larger, more detailed artwork. Includes one 104 × 104 board with unlimited crafting time until closing. Most guests finish in 2 to 5 hours, depending on the design and their pace.
- Unlimited Craft Pass
For guests who want to keep creating. Enjoy unlimited boards and unlimited crafting time (4+ hours) until closing. Perfect if you'd like to complete multiple projects or spend the day crafting.
- Express Session (Returning Guests)
Designed for guests with prior fuse bead experience who can complete a project within 1 hour. If you're new to pixel beads, we recommend choosing the Beginner Experience instead.

They have different finishes like sparkling + towel texture, and fun keychain options. It is located inside the shop with tables at the back. We were shown how to use the tools and the process is very easy. Lots of colours to choose from. It took around 5.5 hours for me to make 3 pieces so allow more time than you think. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great time :)

As there was no time limit, we could easily learn the process and work at our own pace. There are lots of colours of beads, finishes and accessories to choose from so any design can be possible. The staff were also very accommodating, helping us to finish the ironing even after store hours. Would highly recommend!
