What you'll do
The human eye is a wonderfully intricate and complex subject for drawing, and in this Woodridge workshop, you'll learn drawing and shading techniques to create a realistic representation of an eye.
Your instructor for this drawing class, Danni White, will show you two methods for how to draw an eye using a graph and a trace method with graphite paper. You will also learn how you can use 12 different grades of graphite pencil from 2H-8B and how to shade with them using 4 different techniques.
All the materials you need will be provided - all you need to bring is a water bottle to stay hydrated as you learn drawing. This class is suitable for everyone from absolute beginners to intermediate artists.
At the end of this art experience, you'll have your completed drawing of an eye to take home and plenty of skills to continue your drawing journey on your own! What will you draw next?
