In this beginner-friendly online class you will experiment with a set of four curated silk dyes and create your own unique hand dyed silk scarves. Perfect for wearing yourself or gifting to someone who appreciates your handmade creativity!

No previous art or craft experience is necessary, and the accompanying kit contains everything you need to complete the scarves.

Your tutor Barb is an experienced arts educator who has been dyeing and painting silk for over 30 years, including creating one-off exclusive hand painted silk christening gowns that retailed at David Jones.

What you'll get in your craft kit
Our silk painting kit comes with everything you need to dye your own large silk scarves. You will enjoy the chance to experiment with different colours and techniques to create a scarf completely unique to you.

Each kit contains:
  • Four large silk dyes - 30mL of each dye
  • Two undyed luxurious Habutai silk scarves (90cm x 90cm)
  • Creative guide, with detailed instructions on how to dye your scarves, plus online access to detailed tutorial video
  • Pair of gloves

What you'll need
