Anél Heyman Designs (AHD) create beautifully handcrafted ready-to-wear hats and headwear from her home studio in Brisbane.
With over twelve years of perfecting her craft and learning from expert milliners around the world, Anél has developed her skills in traditional millinery as well as challenged herself with new materials and techniques to design unique and sophisticated headwear.
In order to help keep this amazing craft alive, Anél also teaches a variety of local and international workshops online and in person. From showing the ropes to total beginners to helping established milliners develop their skills further. We are all students and all teachers. Never stop learning!
As the overall winner of the international HATalk Competition 2015 and 2021, Anél's skills have been challenged to a high standard which has inspired her to push her design and creation skills to new levels.
