Floral Gossip
Floral Gossip

Floral Gossip presenter Mercedes Sarmini talks about the daily LIVES of Cut flowers combined all together in a floral arranging workshop.
About Floral Gossip
Floral Gossip hosted by Mercedes Sarmini is an informative, engaging romp through the stories and lives of some of Australia’s most popular cut flowers. You’ll never look at a flower the same way again.
Floral Gossip is a profile of cut flowers in each season and provides a wealth of information about what to look for when buying them, what sex they are (and yes this does make a difference to how you care for them ¬– no surprises there), their fragrance, what their significance is and how they can help you transform your thoughts and actions. If you think we humans are complicated just wait till to explore the wealth of knowledge Mercedes has to share with the consumer. No shrinking violets in this lot.
Mercedes also includes useful tips and advice on how to choose cut flowers, make them last longer, which flowers are always thirsty and those that prefer the sweeter things in life. And there are lists about birthday flowers, the history and medicinal uses of each cut flower and the spiritual value of each cut flower.
About Mercedes
Mercedes Floral Gossip was a weekly radio program that takes listeners into the inner workings, love life and passion of flowers. Over 200 radio podcasts before lockdown.
