Flower arrangements are a fantastic way to relax and explore your creativity, while also getting reacquainted with your green thumb. Not only do they look pretty, but these Sydney activities are a great way to switch off and spark connection with old or new friends.

Floral wreaths date all the way back to Ancient Greece, where they were worn as a status symbol and occupation title. The most prominent members of society would wear the best floral wreaths to convey their past achievements and successes. Some were made with twigs and leaves, while fresh and dried blooms were also popular. Finding the right floral wreath was key for festivals and special occasions, and learning how to make them was a valuable skill.

Today, we might not walk around with dried floral wreaths on our heads like the Greeks and Romans, but they continue to decorate our homes and public spaces. During the holidays, we swap out our everyday floral wreath designs for special Christmas wreath decorations that we can hang on our doors to welcome our loved ones and spread holiday cheer. And while we relied on store-bought flower arrangements in the past, there’s been a recent shift to learning how to make a wreath at home. We have a curation of some of the best floristry classes in Sydney so that you can design the perfect floral wreath for any setting or special event. You’ll learn from the best teachers in Sydney, who have been designing unique and beautiful flower arrangements for years.
