What you'll do

Start your music journey with our group guitar lessons in Sydney! These interactive classes are a great introduction to guitar and an excellent way to get you playing quickly.

You'll be taught by an experienced instructor of over 20 years, whose performances include the Sydney Opera House

Guitars are available onsite if you don't own one yet and as we have a guitar store we can sell you a brand new guitar at wholesale prices should you want one once enrolled in the course.

The lessons run for one hour and are held over eight consecutive weeks. Each session is tailored for beginners and will cover a new beginner topic, ranging from basic chords, reading tabs, and practising those all-important scales to eventually playing a song. This course will give you an overview with real-life examples of how to play your favourite songs, improvisation inspiration, rhythm guitar techniques and much more.

Everything will be thoroughly explained by your friendly tutor, who'll work with you to make sure you feel confident with what you're learning and be on hand to answer any questions. There will also be an opportunity to further your guitar studies should you wish to do so.

What you'll learn:

Basic chords and chord progressions.
How to read TAB and apply it to songs.
Time signatures and strumming patterns.
How to use and play major pentatonic scales.
How to use and play minor pentatonic scales.
Rhythm guitar patterns.
How to read sheet music.
How to play a song.

Please note: This course requires a minimum of 10 people to run. If numbers are not achieved a full refund will be issued.

Guitars are available on site however we do encourage you to bring your own, including a notebook and pencil.

This class series runs over 8 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
