What you'll do
In this hand-building ceramics course, you'll learn the art of creating beautiful ceramic pieces from scratch. Whether you want to craft a set of unique mugs, a decorative vase, or a set of intricate sculptures, this workshop will teach you how to bring your creative visions to life using clay and your own two hands. No prior experience is necessary, as our skilled instructor will guide you through each step of the process with patience and care.Throughout this pottery course, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with different hand-building techniques, such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Working with clay can be a therapeutic activity, allowing you to unwind and express yourself through the tactile experience of shaping and moulding the material. By the end of the three sessions, you'll have your own handcrafted ceramics to take home, each piece reflecting your unique style and creativity.

What you'll get
The completed artwork/s created during this course can be fired for an additional cost. We send our ceramic pieces to an external kiln for firing, which costs approximately $20 per kilo, depending on the size of the work. Alternatively, you may take your piece home unfired (air-dried); it will be strong enough to transport safely.

If you already have some artistic or clay-working skills, that’s wonderful—but no experience is necessary. We’ll teach and guide you through the process from start to finish.
