Amazing session. The instructor Hugo was all patience and encouragement, and it was plain to see my daughter's enthusiasm and confidence building along with her skills. Highly recommended if your child is showing any interest at all in skateboarding - one hour that will make them so much safer and more confident right from the start.

I'd organised a private class with some work friends who had also never skated before. We had a great time learning with Dylan, who was a really helpful instructor. I've since been inspired to get a loaner skateboard to practice and I suspect we've started to annoy people at work with our eagerness to start a skate gang.

This was an absolutely great introduction to skateboarding - Dillon was fantastic taking me through each step for my first time trying skateboarding. Stips and tips were both practical and fun. I left with a clear idea of how to proceed in a new hobby for me.

Dylan and Rachel were absolutely brilliant and so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. My daughter had a roller skating lesson with Rachel, who was amazing. By the end of one lesson, my daughter was able to confidently skate on her own.
They gave us really good advice about the right equipment and techniques. Would highly recommend Henrietta Skate and will be booking in again next school holidays!

Had a lot of fun and covered the basics with the teacher. Our teach was friendly, knowledgeable and kept a close eye on us as we learned to skate.

Whilst my body was feeling sore by the end I didn't want the lesson to end.

Great vibe. Izzy was our teacher and she was real generous with her time and advice. She helped a lot with confidence. Dylan in the shop was also awesome to chat with about the class and other skating questions. They also supplied all the gear and it’s good quality stuff. This was a great intro class and I reckon if you signed up to a couple you’d progress heaps quick

My son learnt the basics plus some new things, they were both encouraging and helpful.
We even left with a new skateboard.

Dylan taught my 5yo daughter and I this morning, and despite the different skill levels he managed to teach us both.

My daughter had a great time and loved learning to skate with Dylan.

I loved picking up some tips on some things I'm currently working on and learning some new skills.

Dylan was amazing! He went through all the steps with how to begin riding the boards, and supported us along the way. The area chosen was a good place with minimal people traffic and we had lots of space to fall. Then also the trick learning at the end was awesome too!

I really enjoyed my lesson, it was so much fun! I recommend :)
Dylan is a very good and experienced teacher. Before the lesson, he asked me a few questions about my previous experience and then tried to tailor the lesson based on what I wanted to learn as well.
He's been very patient and friendly the whole time. Being a beginner, I found it the perfect environment to learn. This applies if you are interested in learning more advanced tricks as well.
All the equipment was provided and I appreciated he was very helpful in giving genuine advice about the next steps such as which protective gear is more suitable for me or which boards are best for my goal. I will definitely book other lessons.

Henry really enjoyed his time and the teacher was good. Suggest either finding a place away from the seeds from the trees on the ground or getting a shop broom as the seeds made it a bit hard to get the technique at low speeds

Hugo was great with my daughter- very patient and encouraging. They had a 1-on-1 session which she really enjoyed. She was able to go through a full range of moves and techniques and he made sure she mastered each step before moving on to the next one. She liked it so much that she asked for more private lessons with Hugo!

Our teacher was super cool and very chill, I’ve never skated before I’m my life but I could actually skate after this lesson, admittedly I got a long way to go but I really felt looked after during the lesson and it felt super easy to pick up.

My 8yo and his mate, both absolute beginners, had a private lesson with Ryan - what a great experience.
Ryan was really patient, calm and encouraging with both boys (including a very nervous one) learning some new skills.
The boys faces absolutely lit up when Ryan showed them some tricks and then managed to get both boys landing them by the end (if not quite as effortlessly as Ryan did!)
Everything was made easy from booking to kitting out for the lesson and all with a great location next to the beach - highly recommended.

Ryan was incredibly patient and kind toward all the kids in our group of 7 kids (who ranged in age from 6 to 14 years old). The kids were all happy and felt they were able to skateboard at the end of the lesson. We would recommend these lessons for some fun by the beach.

Awesome adult skate lesson! Thanks Dylan! We were a bunch of (ahem) older dudes celebrating a major birthday milestone so wanted to rekindle some youthful antics. Henrietta Skate were great with gear and a really good beginner programme. We learned the basics fast and ended up mastering some tricks as well. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, slowly building up to more difficult manoeuvres and finally a radical trick or two. Thoroughly recommend the adult lesson and will be back for more advanced tutorials.

Dylan, my instructor was very helpful and patient. The class is amazing. If you are looking for that feeling when you first balanced on your bicycle and ride the first few metres, you will find it in this class. U do need some strengths in your legs and core but nothing excessive at all. Highly recommended.

We had a great time. Ryan was really good with my daughter who needs a while to warm up to new people and situations, and she learned the basics of how to stand, push off and turn, and then even a couple of tricks. She was hesitant at first but ended up having fun and really enjoyed the lesson. We also got some free tips and suggestions to help us choose the next board. Thank you!

Had the most amazing experience, our teacher Dylan (i believe that was his name if it wasn't I'm so sorry I forgot it) was absolutely awesome, super great attitude with a lovely personality and taught both me and my friend perfectly, helping us both individually as well with our different levels of skating abilities. Even though I had a minor base experience with skating I learnt a huge amount that I personally believe has already improved my skating ability. I Will definitely come back to do a lesson again and 100% do it with Dylan again and in particular, go back to that store to buy a skateboard myself with his advice.

The location was ideal and was a really lovely and the most amazing experience and it was the greatest birthday I've had in years thanks to this lesson :)

The teacher was great, the kids really enjoyed their lesson and all the new tricks they learnt. They are asking to do more lessons already. The staff were great and understanding as we were running late due to traffic but the kids still got their full allocated time.

Booked lesson for my grand daughter age 6. Dylon was such a calm patient kind teacher with a relaxed approach that calmed any nerves.
She enjoyed the lesson so much learning the basics as well as a trick.
Dylon also realised two half hour lessons better for her age group and adapted the lesson accordingly. He was so good thank you very much .
