Like a pottery club for teens, join us in Oyster Bay and get ready to get muddy and make magic!
These pottery classes run from 9:30am–2pm and are packed with clay, creativity, fun and games. Teens will learn hand-building and decorative techniques as they build and paint their creations. It's a relaxed way to keep them entertained these school holidays while they explore their artistic side in a supportive, playful environment.
Our pottery club offers a full day of artistic exploration with clay. Your teenagers will explore functional pots and various decorative techniques. They will build confidence, friendships, learn new skills and bring home handmade pottery they’re proud of.
In this class, students will create up to three hand-built projects. In between creating, your children will have a break for lunch and enjoy good old-fashioned games such as table tennis.
We will glaze and fire your artwork in approximately five weeks. Once they are ready, we will contact you to let you know suitable times for collection. We cannot store artworks for longer than six months due to space limitations. After this time, all uncollected works will be donated.
The utmost care will always be taken with your precious artworks. Occasionally, ceramics crack or break in the firing process. We cannot accept liability under these circumstances.
We require a minimum number of enrolments to run the class. In the event that the class does not reach minimum numbers, we will cancel and reschedule your booking.
