Hi, I'm Louella from Naturally Ready, a creative handmade studio based in Marrickville. I opened the studio just 18 months ago to teach people how to make their own perfume and home fragrance products like scented candles, reed diffusers and botanical bath products.
In just a year, I was able to replace a full time corporate salary, build an engaged and inspired community who care about the same things I'm also passionate about; handmade products with natural, sustainable and planet-friendly ingredients.
In this in-person Sydney workshop, I will share my learnings of opening, managing and running a small handmade creative studio and how I turn passion into profit.
We'll also cover topics like:
- how to define your creative offering
- how to find your audience
- how to use social media to build your community
- how to commercialise your hobby or passion
We will allocate time to workshop your ideas and create an actionable to-do list to get you started in your journey.
We'll conclude our interactive workshop with a Q&A Ask Me Anything!

Hi, I'm Louella from Naturally Ready. I'm a small-batch maker of fragrances and natural products.
My handmade journey started ten years ago. I was working for Australian grain farmers and discovered just how amazing plants are, especially when it's cold pressed and turned into oil! I started making natural lip balms with plant oils from our kitchen bench. And Kiss Ready Lips, a collection of natural lip balms was born.
A decade on, I still formulate and hand make our eco-luxe natural products. These days, you will find me in Naturally Ready, our Marrickville studio, teaching natural perfume, home fragrances and DIY skincare workshops.
I also run private in-person workshops for hen's and bridal shower, birthday parties and team building. I can also travel to you for mobile on-site workshops.
I'm so excited to share my love for handmade, truly nourishing ingredients and small-batch fragrances and natural skincare with you.
