Join writer and Indian food enthusiast, Bhavna Kalra in Sydney, for this intensive and hands-on course. You will learn all about the basics of Indian cooking using seasonal local produce and ancient Indian wisdom.
You’ll come away with a whole lot of knowledge on how to prepare your curries, Dals, vegetable and meat dishes, breads and desserts that will become a staple in your kitchen.
Not only will these fun cooking classes give you the confidence to get familiar with the spices and lentils that you can use in everyday cooking but will also give you practical tips on how to incorporate a wholesome Indian way of cooking in your daily life.
The class will be loosely based on Ayurveda wisdom which is the ancient science of Indian medicine. It covers the following modules:
- Indian spices 101
- Dals and how to cook them
- Indian breads
- Indian curries and vegetables
- Indian desserts
- Four Indian menus, six courses each
