On the search for satisfying things to do in Sydney? Learn and explore the wonderful Japanese technique of Shibori (resist dyeing).
Using indigo dye, you will learn how to create a range of complex patterns on cloth, transforming plain white fabrics and garments into beautifully hand-dyed textile pieces, harnessing the deep rich blue of indigo dye.
No prior experience or creative skills are required, classes are relaxed, social and fun! After being introduced to a range of different ways to manipulate cloth to create patterns, you will have the opportunity to explore and work on your own projects.
At the end of your shibori class, take home your beautiful designs along with the skills and confidence to make many more!
