A question that echoes through homes every day, often while dinner is being made, laundry is being folded, as we race to tick off the to-do list before bedtime each day. Do you remember what it felt like to ask that question as a child and hear yes? To feel chosen and seen. Included and loved.
Play Together is a space created to step away from the to-do list and sit side by side with your child in a shared experience of creativity and connection. This is not just a fun play session for children. It is a moment of reconnection with your own sense of play, imagination and joy, and with your inner child. Often, the grown-ups need that connection just as much.
1 ticket includes 1 adult + 1 child aged 5–12
Important Info:
  • We'll be capturing the magic of the day for social media. If you'd rather stay behind the lens, just let me know when you arrive.
  • Tickets are non-refundable, but you're welcome to transfer your spot to a friend if you can't make it. Please send me their names ahead of time.
  • This is a creative wellbeing experience and not a substitute for therapy or professional mental health care.

What you'll get

Come and make a beautiful mess together with stickers, charms, and creative play!
You will create a Shared Connection Diary designed to open up an ongoing dialogue and reflection between you and your child.
You will also make a personalised bag charm/keyring as a memory piece, a small reminder of the importance of saying yes to play.
What's included:
A joyful, hands-on creative experience with all materials provided for a Shared Connection Diary with an abundance of stickers and trinkets to glue and a bag charm/keyring.
Knowledge required
No skills are required, perfect for parents, grandparents, carers, aunts, uncles, and the special child in their life aged 5 to 12.

Wear something your inner child would love, and your child can wear the most playful, fun outfit they have!

A trip to Disneyland sparked the idea for Inner Child JOY. Watching the parade outside the castle and seeing grown men and women waving at the characters we grew up with, I realized they weren’t just watching a parade. They were fulfilling a childhood dream. Seeing their faces light up with joy made me realize your childhood dreams don’t die, they just grow old with you. And doing the things you loved as a child, or always wanted to do, brings so much joy to adulthood.
It inspired me to create workshops for women. Women who grew up being the good girl, who colored in the lines, who never used the good stickers because they were too precious. I create workshops for women to sit down to craft and play like we’re 10 years old. We use the good stickers. We get busy with our hands to get out of our busy minds. We connect with our inner child and one another.
That experience inspired me to create workshops for women who grew up being the “good girl, ” who colored inside the lines, followed the rules, and saved the good stickers because they were too precious to use. In my workshops, we sit down to play, craft, and create like we are 10 again. We use the good stickers. We get out of our busy minds and into our hands. We reconnect with our inner child and with each other.
I have hosted many sold-out workshops across Sydney, was recently featured in the Sydney Morning Herald's Mother’s Day gift guide as an influential mum sharing my Mother’s Day picks. I have curated events for City of Sydney including Sydney Streets and other local councils. I also host private events including team building, hens parties, and birthdays. I also run Mother & Daughter workshops designed to deepen connection through play in the school holidays.
