Basic glass bead making experience required. Ideal for those who have completed the foundational workshop or have equivalent experience.
What to bring
- Please wear long-sleeve T-shirts made of non-flammable material and closed-toe shoes.
- Long hair must be tied back.
Your teacher
Mai Oshima, born in Japan and now living in Sydney, Australia, has been a glass maker and designer since 2013. Specialising in glass jewellery inspired by the Australian coast, especially the Northern Beaches, she blends her passion for surfing with her art. Mai completed her bachelor’s degree in fine arts in Glass in Japan and has more than 20 years of experience in glass. Her experience as a glass instructor in Japan has made her passionate about teaching and sharing her craft.
