Design and cast two beautiful, custom homewares using eco-friendly Jesmonite—a modern, tactile material that’s making waves in sustainable interiors.In this hands-on workshop, you’ll make:
- One rectangular photo frame, and
- Your choice of an oval trinket tray, shell or starfish-shaped tray, or
- pair of round coasters
- Add colourful terrazzo chips or crushed coastal shells for texture and contrast, or
- Pour a marbled pigment blend in your chosen colour palette
- On-trend meets handmade: Whether your style is Japandi calm, coastal minimalism, or playful Scandi-maximalism, your creations will feel right at home.
- Two pieces, two techniques: Explore both terrazzo and marbling in a single session
- Creative freedom: Choose your own colour palette and moulds
- Relaxed and inspiring: Perfect for solo makers, creative duos, or small groups
- How to colour Jesmonite using pigments

No prior experience required, this class is suitable for absolute beginners with an open mind and a spirit of adventure.This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday or hens party. Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old). Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult.
What to bring
- A carry bag or small box to take your pieces home
- Any colour inspiration you love (fabric swatches, Pinterest boards, paint chips!)
- Clothes you don’t mind getting a little creative (messy) in — we’ll provide aprons

This venue is a short walk from St Peters station (500m). Street Parking is available and unlimited on weekends.
Your teacher can also travel within 15 kms of St Peters, to a venue of your choice for a private class.

Made by Me Workshop is about helping people to connect with their "inner creative" and have some fun while making beautiful things from quality materials in our friendly & vibrant studio space in the heart of the inner west!Established in 2017 after Rebecca Doyle decided to take a career break and chose to revisit her childhood love for arts & crafts. Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter! It is probably no surprise to learn that Rebecca followed a creative path to study Fashion & Textile Design at University!After a few more decades (than Rebecca will publicly admit to) and a long and varied career in the fashion industry, Rebecca wanted to get back to creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects - Made By Me Workshop is the result of where this path led.Rebecca loves that moment of pride that comes over each participant's face when they look at what they have created and say to themselves "Wow - I made this & I love it!"Made by Me Workshop run a variety of creative workshops, hen’s parties, private parties and corporate events from their warehouse space in St Peters including Resin Art, Resin Jewellery & Mould Making, Soap Making, Terrazzo Homewares, Punch Needle, Macrame and many more.
