Kate Harrison is a professional Jeweller & Designer with over 20 years of hands-on experience in the Australian Jewellery Trade.She was the 13th and final apprentice of Master Jeweller Raoul Merten of Carina Jewellers in Sydney's iconic Queen Victoria Building, Working alongside him for 8 years. After his retirement she went on to work with luxury Jewellery houses Canturi & ROX Gems & Jewellery.Kate now runs her own exclusive Jewellery label, GOLD & RATIO working out of her eclectic studio in Alexandria, Sydney.Many of her most elaborate and unique creations are made using the lost wax technique which is an ancient and rewarding form of jewellery manufacture not dissimilar to sculpture.
