7 x 3 hours Class size 1 to 20 guests       $399

This jewellery making class is for intermediates who have built foundational skills in the beginners course. Building on from the skills developed there, this class will cover more complex designs and help you refine wax carving techniques. Wax modelling remains an excellent method for crafting intricate silver jewellery, and this course will guide students in pushing the boundaries of creativity and technical ability.
You will work on more intricate and sculptural designs for rings, pendants or other jewellery pieces while experimenting with advanced carving, texturing and detailing techniques. The course will also introduce methods for creating multiple components or settings for stones, offering a deeper understanding of the casting process and how to optimise designs for silver casting. Once the pieces have been cast, students will refine their finishing techniques to achieve a professional standard in polishing and detailing.
