A creative hobby that brings joy, not clutter. I like to gift cookies that cannot be bought from a store because these gifts are priceless. I also like that I can claim "I made these myself". My real passion, however, is in teaching. I have been teaching for more than 25 years and I love it when I can break down what is seemingly a complex process into simple instructions that anyone can understand. I recently transferred this love for teaching into teaching cookie decorating. In my other life as a lawyer, I used to think these creative pursuits are too difficult and too time consuming to learn. Until I started creating my own cookie art and loved the therapeutic effect of cookie decorating. What I thought was difficult only LOOKED difficult - when you know the basic tips and tricks, you can transform any cookie into a masterpiece.
