I’m Kerrilyn!
I am a self-taught watercolour artist from Malaysia. I started my passion turned career in 2017. Ever since, I’ve been hosting workshops in my humble little home studio in Australia, Bangkok and Malaysia. Now, I am also proud to launch my online classes for you!
For beginners, I am here to help you kick start your journey with watercolour and explore this amazing media while having tons of fun! Intermediate artists, come join me if you are looking to improve your skills or try out new painting styles. Either way, my end goal for you is to help you immerse yourselves in splashes of gorgeous colours and melt those daily stresses away!

I loved this Christmas watercolour class. It was perfect for the beginner like me who still finds watercolour painting very tricky. It was great to purchased the video add on to go back and watch again as I complete the pine cone card- that one stretched my ability but as Kerrilyn reassured, it all comes together with the final touches. I am supervised at how great the holly and berries look- almost good enough to give as a Christmas card. Thanks for making a beginner like me feel comfortable as my skills do not match my enthusiasm for watercolour painting- yet. Already looking at booking a class for Jan.

Great class, thank you Kerrilyn. She was really patient and answered all my questions as we went through the class. We went through some basic techniques first on spare paper. I am a beginner so I’m really pleased with how my painting turned out.

I like how it’s broken up into several parts, as it helps me do each technique properly. I like the creative options and the clear instructions. I found this class creative, enjoyable and relaxing. I would recommend to others.

I learnt a lot with Kerrilyn from finding the right colours, mixing colours, finding the right pigment, sketching and painting the glass and lavendar. Compliments the tulips I learnt from her.

A lovely relaxing Sunday afternoon floral watercolour painting session with Kerrilyn. During the session, Kerrilyn taught some basic techniques first to practise. Easy to follow instructions. Audio and video is very clear. Then we proceed to paint the tulips, leaves and background effects. Will definitely be doing the painting again to practise.

I love painting with Kerrilyn The watercolour paintings turned out beautiful especially my Christmas cards painting. Kerrilyn is a great painter and a lovely instructor. She is very patience in giving step by step instructions, preparing materials before each session, and the tips and techniques she provide for me to improve my paintings. Very knowledgeable in the area of watercolor. Highly recommended if you want to start learning and doing watercolours.
